Laurel House, in conjunction with organizations such as Shelter Alliance collects outdated cell phones and empty ink cartridges. The phones and cartridges are sent to a recycling program, which then pays Laurel House a fee for each phone/cartridge. The money which is received helps to fund our 24/7 Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-642-3150).
Students and community groups often find that organizing a cell phone and cartridge collection is a great way to do a community service project.
During the past year nine years, Laurel House has raised over $20,000 through donated used cell phone. Do your part to support us in ending domestic violence and donate your used phone today!
