Advocacy Services

Laurel House recognizes that the legal system is complex and can be challenging to a survivor of domestic violence. Our Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) works to support folks through various court processes. DART advocates are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide assistance, including:
*Referrals to county resources for access to legal assistance, housing, food, transportation, etc.
* Accompaniment filing temporary and emergency PFAs and final PFA hearings
*Connecting clients to courthouse childcare services
*Connecting survivors with different members of the legal system throughout the criminal and Protection From Abuse (PFA) process
A DART advocate can be reached 24/7 through our hotline (215-852-9826) or through a referral by a law enforcement agency or medical professional.. For other domestic violence related services please call our general hotline at 1-800-642-350.
Please note: although our DART advocates are able to assist, they are not legal services.
